Played Edenvale B at home on a freezing night. No1 Brian- Played an immaculate game albeit his opponent was not in tune with the night and logged up an impressive 9/2; 9/2 9/0 win.
No2 Des- As usual Des played the fool in the first game to go down 6/9 against an older guy who Des should have thrashed (COTY nomination?). Got his head right and took the next two games and then his opponent withdrew (hamstring). Win 3/1.
No3 Bob- On top form ran in comfortably 9/2; 9/3 and 9/7.
No4 John- Not up to his usual high standard John worked very hard to throw the last two games where he was up 6/2 and 7/2 only to lose 6/9 and 7/9. (Another COTY nomination?). The first game was also close but went down 8/9.
RESULT - WON 12-4.
