Not too difficult finding the main entrance to the school. However extreme difficulty finding the squash courts in their vast school grounds. However, we all eventually located them.
Brain #1 Getting back his rhythm and his winning ways and off to a good start for the team, winning 3-0.
Paddy #2 Failed to take his chances, but lost his way in the important fifth, losing 2-3.
Keith #3 Unlike Brian, was unable to get into the game and lost 0-3.
John #4 Tried hard but unfortunately too many mistakes. Lost 0-3
Final result 5-12
A few observations:
Aggregate age of Chamber team +- 240 odd giving an average of +-60
Aggregate age of opponents +-60 giving an average of +-15
Unlike our opponents, our parents were not able to support and cheer us on. Fortunately Des was there in support.
Nice gesture when your arrive and your opponent greets you ‘Sir’.
Compliment to the school: Youngsters were extremely well mannered and behaved, a credit to the school.
Overall result: Lost 5 - 12
