Results of the 2015 Chamber Exiles Club Championships finals held in December, they were:

 Mens Final :                        Mike Hambly beat David Kind                                   3-0

 Ladies Final:                       Helena Kruger beat Shelley Manning                        3-0

 Mens 3rd and 4th :              Phil Rainbow beat Jae Lee                                        3-2

 Ladies 3rd and 4th :            Megan Shannon beat Jana Marais                            3-2

 Mens Plate Final:               David Hamilton beat Peter Fillmore                            3-1

 Mens 2 Plate:                     Phil Alves beat Flip van Antwerpen                            3-1

 Mens 3 plate                      Heinrich van Rensburg beat  Vevek Iyer                    3-2 

 Mens Wally Plate:              Vince Pienaar beat Shelley Manning                          3-2

 The VERY PRESTIGIOUS Shagger Cup :  Gary Alter beat Ryan Chegwidden   3-2

 A very BIG thanks to Gavin Bowes and his company AshBow for his generous sponsorship of the prizes.

2015 WannabeEZ Challenge Results



For a number of years, the WannabeEZ Challenge (previously known as the Lower Leagues Tournament) has been hosted by the Chamber Exiles squash club on behalf of Central Gauteng Squash. The final results are below

 The main results were:

 Men’s C-Section:             Leslie Longueira                 3              Nealon Burger     2

 Men’s B-Section :            Helena Kruger                    w/o       Fergus Macleod

 Men’s A-Section:             Mike Hambly                       3              Riaan Janeke      1

 Ladies B-Section:            Belinda Crots                      3             Lisa Bruwer          1

 Ladies A-Section:            Robyn Boy                          3              Comfort Shaba    1

 There was a great turn-out at the finals last night, must have been 80-100 people there  (I’m sure the free food and booze had nothing to do with it). Well done to all the players who were involved.

There were 3 great finals last night with lots of other good matches as well. The Ladies and Mens A-Section finals both went to 5 sets and both could have gone either way.
