5th LEAGUE vs Jeppe

We all arrived at the courts spot on 6.30 chomping at the bit to avenge the 16-3 drubbing received from Jeppe in the 1^st match. At 7.00pm there was no sign of them and nobody answering their cell phones. At 7.30 we decided to have a spot of doubles and claim the points.

At 9.00 messages are returned. According to their schedule they have a bye, please could we re-arrange as they are close with Suburbs at the top of the league. Being the nice guys we are, we agreed but rest assured we won’t be nice when they get on court. Especially as their captain tried to negotiate that we copy the result of the 1^st match instead of playing (we lost that 16-1). Ha….just wait.
