Um, short report this week. The schedule at the beginning of the season had this match at home. So there we were at Chambers, champing at the bit and ready to go. 6:30 pm and no opponents. 6:45 came and went as did 7pm. Still no-one. Brief check on the website showed a changed schedule… Ooops. Next 30 mins spent trying to get hold of Wendywood with no luck. Too late to get all the way across town now. So we gave up and played an internal tournament followed by the usual at Dops.
Fortunately, when we did finally get hold of Wendywood, they were gracious about the lapse and the match has been rescheduled. Note to self: check Gauteng Squash website weekly to ensure that the fixture holds true.
