Jeff was injured but decided he would sacrifice himself at No 1 for the team. Needless to say he played brilliantly, concentrating on his shots rather than his running. A 3-2 win.
Ryan played Steve Langston – very similar game – both murring the ball to the back at every opportunity. Steve made less mistakes than Ryan and won 3-0
Vevek on next against Anton was not fit enough and lost 0-3. He promises to get fit!!
No pressure on the Silver Fox, then with the match lost, so in the interests of fitness a 5-setter ensued with the fox sneaking in comfortably 16-14 I the 5th.
