Tuesday saw the return match with Jeppe although a very different team to the one played on the away leg. Unfortunately they were down a player and so Graham pulled the short straw and had to sit this one out.
Up first was Diggers on against the wily Dave. After going one up the second game turned into a slugging match with Digby finally going down 24-26. This rattled his game a little, not to mention some displeasure with some of the marker calls, and lost the third, but soon recovered and managed to take the following two to end up 3-2 to Diggers
On next was yours truly (Dave H) who had a little bit of a slow start (takes a while to get this engine up to full speed!) I was quickly down two games but then started to get into my stride. I pulled back the next two games and it was again down to the last. Unfortunately it was not to be and I lost 3-2.
On last was Peter who was playing the ambidextrous Vaughn. Peter didn’t quite get the hang of this and went down 3-0.
With the one game being a walk over the final score was 10-8 to Chamber
After a few drinks it was off to Doppio Zero (just for change) where Graham managed to dig himself a hole with our champion supporter Ronel and probably ended up sleeping outside in the kennel.
